Hence, developing “Eco-efficiency” (saving energy and reducing carbon dioxide emissions) is the major International obligation and social responsibility that Chinese enterprises should take. 今年全国多地爆发严重的雾霾天气，交通污染物排放也是主因。道路货运业是能源消 耗大户，在节能减排战略中具有重要位置。因此，执行严格的排放标准，出台优惠政策推 动节能降耗，发展绿色货运已成为社会的热点。此外，近些年来货运交通安全事故频发， 大桥垮塌、多车连撞、制动失灵、翻车遗撒等事故引起社会广泛关注，也是货运企业普遍 关注的焦点。 Road traffic pollution has been considered as the top reason for the national wide airpocalypse (air pollution with the thick grey smog) this year. Being a major contributor of energy consumption, modern freight transport has been urged to rethink its role and remodel itself for developing the strategy of “Eco-efficiency”. Therefore, actions including restricting gas emission, advocating new policies favoring “Eco-efficiency”, as well as developing green freight, are highly demanded by the whole society.
