Through the optimization of the workshop layout and the path, enterprises can increase the production efficiency, reduce waste and increase production capacity, so analyzing and improving the workshop layout and the path has important significance. Firstly the paper introduces the background and significance of the article expatiates. Aimed at the workshop’s inefficient status because of the production process and workshop layout, the paper discusses the research methods of the workshop layout and the path, and then describes the situation of the workshop layout and the path; Secondly, the paper analyzes the current situation by using “5W1H”, and discovers its existing problems. Combining with actual situation of the enterprise, the paper proposes the improvement scheme and measures by using procedure analysis, workshop layout and the path analysis and C-W algorithm; Finally, in order to account for the effect of the improvement, the paper compares the flow condition, the handling distance and the consume hours of work and other indicators with those before improvement.
