Let the students discuss “what is the meaning of management” in group, the students who know the exact meaning of it should explain it in English to those who don’t know the meaning. 教学步骤

(1) Let the students discuss the question “what does the management include?” in group, the students should write the answers that they know on the paper.
(2) Choose a reporter to present what they discussed for other groups.
(3) Match the words or expressions in the box with the pictures.

1. Let students understand the salutations and functions of different department clearly.
2. Guide the students to find out the topic sentences and key information of the whole passage.

5. Let the students finish the exercises in Group Work and discuss together.

Warm-up (15-20 minutes)
Prepare all the salutations of different department manager in a company, let the students guess what are the meanings of them and organization chart of the company. For example: CEO, General manager, HR manager, Sales manager, Financial manager, Marketing manager and so on.
2. Main Reading Tasks (50minutes)
(1) Ask the students to preview the passage before the class, underline the new words and expressions, guess the meanings according the examples what the teacher give and then check them by using the dictionary in the class.
(2) Students read the passage for two times in class: get the passage structure for the first
