B ased upon the expermi ental studies, the stiffness and its attenuat ion, bearing capacity, duct ility, hysteresis property, steel bar stra in, energy dissipation and fa ilure phenom ena o f the shear w a lls are ana lyzed and contrasted each other. T he expermi enta l resu lts show that the se ism ic behav ior of the low- rise shear w alls w ith con- cealed stee l fram e has been obv iously mi proved and the seism ic behavior o f the low- rise shear w alls w ith concealed stee l tru ss has been significant ly increased in com parison w ith the usua l one.
