艾滋病治疗研究新方向(New directions in research on AIDS treatment)

艾滋病治疗研究新方向(New directions in research on AIDS treatment) New directions in research on AIDS treatment The rat model can be used for the study of new anti HIV drugs Because of the specificity of species, the experimental rats are not susceptible to human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). In recent years, scientists have been trying to develop rodent models that can infect HIV. In 2007, a study by the Keppler research group at the University of Heidelberg in Germany showed that a genetically engineered rat was susceptible to infection with HIV and could provide new support for the development of anti HIV drugs. The researchers transfected 2 key human genes (known as CD4 and CCR5 related genes) to rats to make HIV susceptible to infection in the immune cells of rats. The results showed that HIV could not effectively replicate itself in rats, which led to the gradual decrease in the number of HIV in rats and the loss of therapeutic targets for the anti HIV drugs, which directly affected the evaluation of the effect. Later, the Keppler team worked on the transformation of mouse and rat models and added new genes to solve the problem. After a number of gene transfection in rats receiving antiviral drug T-20, the drug in rats from HIV into cells, and reverse transcription inhibition of HIV RNA into HIV DNA, one of the 90% similar process and the human condition. T-20 directly results in a decrease in the number of CD4+T immune cells in the rat and is consistent with human trials. The researchers say the model does not apply to all new anti HIV drugs, but virologist in Maryland, the United States, believes the study is a good start to the study of new anti HIV drugs. Radiolabeled antibodies can kill HIV-1 infected cells The United States Albert Einstein isotope therapy medical science Dr. Dadachova pointed out that by labeling with anti HIV-1 glycoprotein packaging radioactive isotope 188Re 41 antibody, can successfully kill HIV-1 chronic or acute infection of white blood cells
