银合欢不同植株部位的降血糖作用研究（Hypoglycemic effect of different plant parts of Leucaena） Hypoglycemic effect of different plant parts of Leucaena Update Date: 06-05 Keywords Leucaena glauca Abstract: Objective To study the hypoglycemic effect of Leucaena root, trunk, leaf, seed and pod. Preparation method of Leucaena different plant parts of the water extract and alcohol extract with four alloxan diabetic mice model induced by epinephrine and glucose, and high blood sugar in mice model, hypoglycemic effect of above extract on experimental animal. Results in three animal models, leaves and seeds of alcohol and water extracts have obvious hypoglycemic effect (P0.05); root and pod water extract on blood glucose in mice induced by elevated glucose has certain inhibitory effect, but not obvious; stem extract in animal models were not all exhibit hypoglycemic effect. Conclusion the extracts from roots, trunks and pods have no hypoglycemic effect, while leaf and seed extracts have significant hypoglycemic effects, suggesting an effective component of hypoglycemic activity. ConclusionBoth Leucaena leaf and seed contain component (s) which have hypoglycemic effect in diabetic model mice.
