Three ways to improve reading ability
This lecture, I want to introduce to students is to improve the reading ability of several factors.
First, analysis of the structure of the law
Generally speaking, the purpose of our reading is to obtain information. With different genres, their structural features will vary. Therefore, one of the most effective ways to obtain information is to learn and understand the structure of the article so as to locate the information we are looking for more accurately and quickly.
Genre level Four English test in reading comprehension there are three main types: narration, exposition and argumentation. Here we combined 2000 December four college English exam to explain how to use the structure to achieve the purpose of reading.
1, Xu Shuwen
The paper describes in general about personal life experience, the experience statement is usually made up of a certain concept of time running through them, or order or reverse order. However, there is no pure narration in the four test, because the narrative is simple and easy to understand. So the four exam narrative articles are mostly students. The basic structure of such articles is:
1) introduce the narrative experience (topic) with a general introduction
2) narrate the previous experience (example 1) and its perception or discovery
3) describe the following experience (example 2) and its insights or findings
4) make a conclusion or conclusion
This is the second structure of reading comprehension in Grade Four Test in December 2000. We can simplify the structure to:
1) a sweeping argument:

2) a previous experience or idea
