Key words: evaluation method; empirical analysis; process analysis Since the early twentieth Century, DuPont Co used the investment return index to evaluate the performance, and the performance evaluation has been developed from the single index evaluation to the multi index comprehensive evaluation. In the multi index comprehensive evaluation, the proper choice of evaluation method has an important influence on the evaluation results. This paper is based on the AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, factor analysis method and TOPSIS method, five methods are empirical in the performance evaluation of the listed companies in the grey correlation analysis, and the differences of various evaluation methods specific evaluation process analysis, the difference of trying to explain the empirical results, in order to provide reference for the evaluation the choice of methods.
