Article 1
For the purposes of this convention:
(a) the term Remuneration includes the conventional, basic or minimum wage or salary paid by the employer directly or indirectly to the employee in cash or in kind, as well as any additional remuneration for the employment of the worker;
(b) the term equal remuneration for work of equal value for men and women means the remuneration standard determined without discrimination on the basis of sex.
