(COME AND EAT HEREPART 1)
Introduction
In this period, after the warming up, students will first be guided to imagine and share their views about the healthy food. They will then be helped to read a passage entitled COME AND EAT HERE.
Examples of “Warming Up” designs are presented in this book for teachers’ reference. Computer and overhead projector may be used to aid the teaching and learning.

To making suggestions or giving advice on diet

To make a balanced menu

Procedure
1. Warming up
Review the words of foods by showing their pictures. First, ask students to list the foods they like best. Then tick off 3 of them they eat most often. Second, show the three groups of foods and see which group their foods belong to. Third, ask the students to tell us in what ways their foods help them grow.
II. Pre-reading by talking and sharing
Get the students to discuss the questions with their partners in this part. Then ask them to report their work. This part will help the students understand the text.
