Methods: Literature search, query and analysis methods were used to extract the relevant information about the advantages and disadvantages of the text oriented clinical guidelines and the research hot spots at home and abroad about digitized clinical guidelines. Results: Combined with the current situation and problems of the research in this area, the importance and necessity of the digitized clinical guidelines in the computer based medical decision support system. Conclusion: How to choose the suitable development model an accurate expression of the guide. At the same time, the associated with the known system, the maximum play its role; how to evaluate whether the digitized clinical guidelines in clinical decision making plays a huge role or not; how to carry out this kind of evaluation criteria will be a goal of future research.
