Results：9 studies including a total of 1188 patients met with the enrolling criteria for the study，Meta-analysis indicated that no difference was found in the mean operation time、mean blood loss、mean hospital stay、re-operation rate、device success rate between two groups. the disc replacement group has lower rate of the complication , and the disc replacement group was more efficient in making progress VAS pain ,ODI score postoperation； Conclusion : the disc replacement group was more efficient in making progress VAS pain ,ODI score postoperation ,which means the disc replacement gro
