背景知识
北京世界公园总面积46.7公顷,公园按照世界五大洲版图划分景区,以世界上
50个国家的119处名胜古迹的微缩景点为主体,荟萃了埃及金字塔、法国埃菲尔铁塔、巴黎圣母院、美国白宫、国会大厦、林肯纪念堂、悉尼歌剧院等著名建筑,以及意大利式、日本式公园等。这些仿照名胜而建的微缩建筑,设计精细,造型逼真。置身世界公园,会让人感觉仿佛真的在周游世界。
教学步骤

Step I呈现
1教师就出游计划向学生提问:
(1) Where are you going on holiday?
(2) Which city are you going to?
(3) Why do you want to go there?
(4) How do you plan to get there?
鼓励学生发表自己的观点,同时复习前一课时所学内容。
2教师向学生介绍自己的计划:I’d like to go to the World Park in Beijing. There are models of more than a hundred places of interest from all over the world. We can see the Eiffel Tower and the Golden Gate Bridge in the park. They look just like the real ones. So I can travel around the world in a day. What an amazing day it will be! 教师将划线的重点内容呈现在黑板上,并带领学生朗读,确保学生掌握发音和含义。
Step II操练
l向学生介绍:Linda went to the World Park in Beijing with the Class 1, Grade 8 students. She wrote an email to her parents. Do you want to know what she did and what she saw there? 通过提问激发学生的好奇心和求知欲。
2教师向学生提出一个问题:How did Linda feel about the visit to the World Park? 让学生带着这个问题快速阅读,用自己的话描述Linda的总体参观感受,如:
