Module 2 Colourful life Unit 5 Let’s celebrate! 教学设计1 一、教学目标 1.学习有关万圣节的知识。 2.初步了解信件的写作格式。 3.培养学生阅读能力。 二、教学重难点 词汇:USA, paint, inside, knock, shout, if, treat, special, question 词组:tell about, in the USA , have lots of fun, play a game with, knock on the door, give…as a treat 句型:Thank you for telling me about the Mid-Autumn Festival. I like Halloween test. 三、教学准备 1.教师或学生率先查找有关万圣节的信息。 2.相关的图片和教学挂图。 3.录音机。 4.多媒体课件。 四、教学步骤 Step I 导入 1.复习前一课时所学内容。教师说:We have already learnt something about different festivals around the world. Do you remember them? 向学生出示除万圣节以外的五个节日的图片并问:What is this festival? How do people celebrate it? 2.导入本课时内容。教师最后出示Halloween的图片,请学生回忆上一课时学习的有关该节日的信息。 Step II 呈现 1.该环节中,教师要将万圣节的庆祝方式以文字形式呈现给学生。 方式一:图片呈现。 图片内容分别为: (1) people who are dressing up and wearing masks (2) people whose faces are painted (3) pumpkin lanterns (4) children who are playing “trick or treat” (5) a Halloween party 教师说:Today we will talk about more details about Halloween. Here I have some pictures of this festival. First, let’s look at the big orange one. It is a lantern for us to see clearly at night, and this lantern is made out of a pumpkin. It’s a pumpkin lantern.。呈现过后教师带读生词pumpkin lantern。 教师继续说:At Halloween, people dress up and wear masks or paint their faces. They try to make themselves different from usual, because it’s a special day.呈现过后教师带读生词:dress up,wear masks,paint faces,special。 教师继续说:At Halloween, children’s favourite game is to play “trick or treat”. Have you heard about it? 请知道这个游戏的学生描述或演示。教师解释:Children will knock on people’s doors and ask for some candy as a treat. If they do not get the treat, they will play a trick on people. 教师带读生词:trick or treat, knock on the door。 教师继续呈现:On the evening of October 31, people will have a party to celebrate the festival. What do you think they will do at the party? 教师对学生的回答进行总结:People usually have nice food and drinks at parties. 方式二:实物及实景呈现。 教师可以在课前请几位学生准备一个实物南瓜灯,一到两件万圣节服装和面具,另请两到三位学生准备一个“不款待就捣乱”的活动。 方式三:视频呈现。 2.完成B1部分的练习,对万圣节
