六、变换句式 四级作文要求考生能写出一定的长句子，但是考生一写长句往往就会写错，怎么办？最保险的方法就是在短句之间加上表示关系的连词。 比如可以在有先后关系或并列关系的句子之间加and， 例如：I enjoy music and he is fond of playing guitar. 如果是二者并列的，我们就可以用一个超级句式： Not only the fur coat is soft，but it is also warm. 如果是转折关系，我们就可以加上despite that，still，however，nevertheless，in spite of，despite，notwithstanding这样的词语。 比如The car was old. It was in excellent condition.我们可以改成 The car was quite old，yet it was in excellent condition. 有时还可以附加一些东西，即定语从句、同位语从句或者插入语。 例如The man whom you met yesterday is a friend of mine. I don’t enjoy that book you are reading. 其实很简单，同位语——要解释的东西删除后不影响整个句子的构成；定语从句——借用之前的关键词并且用其重新组成一个句子插入其中，但是whom or that 关键词必须紧跟在先行词之后。 最后总结四级作文成功的关键有如下几点： 1.organize your thoughts before writing：brainstorm，make an outline. 下笔前整合思绪：脑力激荡，写出纲要。 2.write clearly. be concise. avoid wordiness. 写作清晰，务必精简，避免赘言。 3.use good grammar and write complete sentences. 使用好的文法，写出完整句子。 4.write simple sentences.
