Happy new year;As we all know ,January 1st in the Gregorian calendar is called the new year ,while the first day on the lunar calendar is called the spring festival in China.;The origin of the New Year; Most countries in the world set January 1st as the new year’s day.However the time of different countries differs owning to the longitude of each country. For example, Tonga(汤加),an island nation in Oceania is located on the west of the Date Line(日界线),so it is the first place to celebrate the new year.
