While its development and heritage have encountered great impact since the new century ， integrating it into the music education at local Universities may highlight the local culture. Qingtian clapper singing is a unique form of folk rap art of Lishui city. Integrating it into the music education at local University may highlight the local color of the music education for it helps to perfect the teaching of folk music ，enrich the content of teaching ，broaden students ’horizon and stimulate students ’interest in local folk music. The choice of the teaching content and the integration of the characteristic of local folk music into teaching should be explored by teachers in practice.
