Results showed that delayed seeding transplantation helped to speed up growth even when root extension period was shortened. Yield and quality were increased when transplanting date was delayed until February 15th, while decreased when transplanting date was delayed until March 8th. No significant effects on average price and rate of top quality leaves were found.
