In this paper, the initial sample film with lotus leaf and rice leaf texture was prepared by the replica method based on PDMS. Then, By combining electrochemical and deposition , DLC films with “lotus leaf”-like and “rice leaf”-like textures were successfully fabricated. The film was modified with PFPE to improve friction properties and hydrophobic properties. The bio-mimetic micro/nano-binary textures of DLC films were examined by 3D non-contact optical pro-filometry. The hydro-phobicity of DLC film was texted by contact angle, and friction performance was analyzed with UMT. The results show that the modified film has a high toughness and a low coefficient of friction, coefficient of friction is maintained between 0.15 to 0.2, he best can reach 0.12. Also has good super-hydrophobic (contact angle up to 155 degrees). Superhydrophobic DLC film can be used as a lubricating layer of material, but also has a low friction will be widely used in practical engineering applications.
