This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution International License (CC BY). /licenses/by/4.0/ Abstract Methods: In this study, questionnaires including adaptability and cohesion scale (the FACES Ⅱ-CV) and emotional expressivity scale (EES) were given to 254 free medical oriented students in some Medical College to conduct an overall survey. There is a significant difference between the medical oriented students’ emotional expression and the dimensions of willing to express on gender. There is a significant correlation existing between family adaptability and cohesion with emotion- al expression. Conclusion: Family adaptability has remarkable positive prediction to emotional expression, and has significantly negative prediction to emotional expression, and the prediction from family cohesion to emotional expression is not obvious.
