This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution International License (CC BY). /licenses/by/4.0/ Abstract Based on the 76 weather stations daily precipitation data of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from 1961 to 2012, through mathematical statistics, trend analysis, etc., this paper analyzed the spatial and temporal evolution of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei precipitation. The results showed that the spatial distribution of precipitation of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei was irregular, and the great value center was located in Jidong plain region; the precipitation of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei showed a trend of decrease, but the range of decrease was not the same. Since 1961, the precipitation in spring and autumn showed a increase trend, and the range in autumn was greater than that in spring. The precipita- tion in summer showed decrease trend, and the precipitation in winter had no significant changes.
