Unit 3 It must belong to Carla 教 学 过 程 Lead in: Have the students translate the sentence: You must come here on time tomorrow. Explain the meaning of must. Then Let the students translate the other sentence: It must belong to Carla. Have the students tell the differences of must in the two sentences. Step 1 :1a 1. Show the picture in 1b,ask the students to write the things they see in the correct columns in the chart. Learn new words: truck; rabbit; whose valuable if the students don’t know the meaning of them. 2.1b Before listening, tell the students the things in the picture belong to some persons, Listen and match each person with a thing and a reason. Look through the chart and listen carefully. Play the recorder the first time ,the students only listen, then play it again, ask the students finish the task, if the students have difficulties listening to the tape, Play the recorder one more time. At last correct the answers. Step 2 : Practice in pairs. Ask the students to practice the conversation in the picture above. Then make conversations using the information in 1b. Role play. Ask some pairs in each groups to read their conversations. Step 3 2a、2b、2c 1. Ask: Have you ever lost your schoolbag or other things? Where have you lost them? Have you found it/them ?Now Bob and Anna found a schoolbag at the park. Listen and wrote down the things in the schoolbag. Play the tape for the students ,the students listen and finish the task. Then check the answers. 2.Have the students look through 2b,ask them to listen again and fill in the blanks, ask the students to pay attention to must, might, could, can’t.
