1 Revision
1.Revise the dialogue that we learned last period. (出示第二张幻灯片)
Let the Ss act the dialogue out. A student comes to the front to be the teacher, other Ss can help
to finish the dialogue.
2. Ask some questions according to the dialogue. To know if the Ss have a good revision at
home. Let a student come out to be the host and ask the questions. (出示第三,第四张幻灯片)
2 Presentation
1.New- teaching
Do you know May Day is coming, on that day in Shenyang this year a big event will happen.. it is a hot point. We are all looking forward to it. Who can tell me what will happen?(出示第五张幻灯片)T: What can you see on the screen?What is it? Student may answer.Then teach them it is a bird called pied magpie. It is a kind of lucky bird. It is a mascot. After showing the second picture, T: “what is it?” Ss: “it is a sign.” T:“What does this sign look like?” The Ss may answer. So we know Shenyang international horticultural exposition will happen on that day. We can see beautiful view at the exposition. Ask the Ss some questions. What does EXPO mean? It means exposition. Where will the EXPO be held? When will the EXPO be held? Who will come to visit the EXPO? You know Kitty’s class are going to have an international food festival to raise money for the SPCA. Do you want to do something for the EXPO?
