Opportunity Baclofen is a muscle relaxer and an antispastic agent. Baclofen is not only used to treat muscle symptoms caused by multiple sclerosis, including spasm, pain, and stiffness. But also be used for others .Next I will introduce. baclofen, the prototypic γ-aminobutyric acid B (GABAB) receptor agonist, is a promising pharmacological compound for use in the treatment of alcohol dependence. In particular, baclofen has been found to suppress symptoms of alcohol withdrawal syndrome with an efficacy comparable with that of the ‘gold standard’ diazepam. Moreover, baclofen has proven effective in the prevention of relapse due to its ability to reduce alcohol intake and craving in alcoholic patients. Baclofen proved to be manageable, producing no significant side effects and displaying no addictive properties. The efficacy of the drug in the management of both alcohol withdrawal syndrome and relapse prevention should entail a vastly simplified pharmacotherapy of alcohol dependence.[1] baclofen reduced the incidence of gastro-oesophageal reflux episodes by inhibition of the incidence of transient lower the esophageal sphincter relaxations; baclofen did not affect oesophageal clearance, basal lower oesophageal sphincter pressure, the percentage of reflux episodes associated with transient lower oesophageal sphincter relaxations or the percentage of transient lower oesophageal sphincter relaxations followed by acid reflux; baclofen had no effect on the symptoms associated with reflux disease and the sensation of fullness.[2] Chronic hiccup is an infrequent but distressing symptom in patients with advanced cancer. A series of drugs (chlorpromazine, haloperidol, nifedipine, metoclopramide, baclofen) have been used to treat hiccup without definitive results. Some authors have suggested a possible role of baclofen in the treatment of chronic hiccup. They report three cases of chronic hiccup in patients with cancer successfully treated with baclofen. So baclofen is an
