Section B 1a,1b,2a Teaching Goals: 1）knowledge goal: Know about some ordinal numbers（序数词）,especially from 1st to 31st ; be able to speak the dates; 2）Ability goals: Be able to use “When is your birthday ?and What’s the date today?” to ask and answer birthdays and dates. 3） Emotion goal: Remember others’ birthday and express their birthday in English. The key points and difficult points Key points 1) learn and use some ordinal numbers especially from 1st to 31st. 2) Use揥hen?questions to ask othersit’ birthdays and “What” question to talk about the dates.. Difficult points Know about the pronunciations of twelve months and the changing regular of the ordinal numbers. Learning Analysis The grade seven students have owned some basic of language, they can use some simple language to discuss and communicate with others. But, in this unit, it’s very difficult for them to describe birth and communicate with each other . They can’t pronounce the months and ordinal numbers well, maybe some students will be afraid to show themselves in class. So this class will be a big challenge to me.
