教学步骤:
Step 1. Warming up
Greetings
Free talk. Revise the vocabulary and sentences about animals.
Step 2. presentation and drill
Use toys or word cards to teach words: a puppy, a bitten, a pet, lovely.
T: Look! It’s a lovely animal. What is it?
Ss: A little dog\ cat \ rabbit.
T: yes! You can also say, “ It’s a puppy \ kitten \ rabbit.” Can you act as a puppy \ kitten \ rabbit ?
T: Do with me. Teacher does actions, lead to read words.
Let the Ss imitate and lead to read.
T: If you can choose a lovely animal as your pet, what do you want to have?
Write “ I want to have a lovely…..as my pet.” Explain the word ‘pet’.
Use real objects to teach “a cage a basket”
T: Where can you put a kitten or a puppy?
You can put them in a cage or a basket. What will you buy for your pet, a cage or a basket?
S1: I will buy a cage.
S2: I will buy a basket.
Teach words: expensive touch hold
T: Look! I have a basket. It’s 500 yuan.
Ss: wow!
T: It’s very expensive. Maybe you can have a cage. The cage is only 100 yuan. It’s cheap.
The opposite: expensive---cheap
T: Do you want to have a pet? You can ask your mummy, “ can I have a pet?” What do you want to have? You can ask, “ Can I have a …?
Encourage the Ss to describe freely.
Step 3. Practice.
Listen to Part A, understand the main idea and answer questions.
Listen to Part A and repeat.
Practice in groups.
