Analysis about teaching material
Tenses are a very important grammar item in senior high school English. And the present perfect continuous tense is one of the most important part in all tenses. Its structure is complex and it is easy to confuse it with the present perfect tense. So it is placed in the last unit of Model 8,aiming to get the students to go over all tenses. The tense is always tested in the College Entrance Examination in the form of simple choice. What’s the most important is that students must learn to use it properly with other tenses in writing.
Analysis about the students.
The students have learned the other tenses before and they have seen the sentences using the present perfect continuous tense in the reading part. Besides, they are good at taking in new knowledge. But some of them are tired of learning grammar because they think it’s boring. So it’s essential for the teacher to direct them in their learning method and raise their interest in learning grammar.

Knowledge and skills
1. To master the structure and basic uses of the present perfect continuous tense.
2. To tell the differences between the present perfect continuous tense and the other tenses, especially the present perfect tense.
3. To be able to use different tenses properly and form the strong sense about grammar.
4. To get knowledge about things home and abroad and broaden their horizon about culture.
Learning procedure and methods
1.To learn to get to know something by means of feeling, discovering, concluding, comparing and applying. Besides, they should realize using language is the purpose of learning language and develop their imagination and creation during the course.
2. To learn to cooperate with others
