Abstract:literacy is the foundation of reading and writing, and literacy teaching exists in the full process of Chinese Teaching during primary and secondary school. Full-time Compulsory Education Chinese Course Standard(Experimental edition revised) requires students in grade one or two to understand about 1600 commonly used Chinese characters in literacy. In rural primary school, teaching equipment is backward, teaching resources are in short, and mechanization of literacy is as all as ditch water, all these make it easy to cause students boredom. Coupled with the short attention span of students in low grate, low Chinese accomplishment of some teachers, and the phenomenon of literacy teaching in dialect exists generally , which affect the quality and speed of literacy for student in low grade are seriously affected. So we need to fully understand the problems exists in literacy teaching of low grade in rural areas. Use the limited teaching resources, adopt a variety of targeted teaching methods, in order to stimulate the students’ interest in learning, improve students’ ability in literacy, strengthen the outcomes of teaching literacy, and then achieve the goals in literacy.
