This paper from the power grid dispatching automation system, introduces the concept of electric power dispatching automation’s main function. Analyses the development trend of electric power dispatching automation. With the continuous development of power grid, the operation and management requirements in a constantly changing, to ensure the safety of electric power production and orderly, as an important pillar of dispatching automation system to adapt the development of power demand.
