This work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution International License (CC BY). /licenses/by/4.0/ Abstract Through questionnaires to students and teachers on public PE lessons in Liaoning, we get to know the reforming condition of public PE lessons in colleges in Liaoning. And then we analyzed the in- ner problems. The result shows that the curriculum mode of public PE lessons in Liaoning now is “optional lessons” and that the teaching program and textbooks mainly focus on competitive technology. The teaching methods are old and the assessment and evaluation is not comprehen- sive. For the above, we advise to convert the curriculum mode, set more projects, lower the diffi- culty of the textbooks and use teaching methods and evaluating methods reasonably.
