Thirtytwo aquatic vascular plant communities and t heir water environment s were surveyed in J iangxi province . The com

munities were analysed using PCA princip al component analysis ordination to determine t he relationship between t he com
munities and environmental factors ,according to p H value ,dept h of water ,COD , DO ,N P and HM . The result s showed t hat
information in original environmental data of communities was held 7 1. 0 % in t he first two component s of PCA ordination ,
COD , DO ,N P and HM were t he princip al factors to determine t he ecological distribution of aquatic vascular plant . .
