At present,there isonly one company that canproduce it through lead quenching. Inthispa鄄 per,the feasibility to produce a kind of ultrahigh鄄strength strapping steel with tensional strength of 1350 MPa and elongation of 12% by environmentally friendly continuous annealing process is investiga鄄 ted. The experiment results of steelmaking,hot rolling,pickling,cold rolling and continuousheat treat鄄 ment showthatthesteelwiththeabove鄄mentionedpropertiescanbeobtainedbyusingthenewly鄄designed chemical composition scheme.
