[purpose] lead the students to think of the food. Step2 Presentation 1 Pre-reading Today I’ll introduce a friend to you.He is hungry.What will you eat when you are hungry? A piece of cake ,some pizza,some cheese,apples,or other fruits. 2 While-reading Let’s see what is the story about. Read the story,using the power point. Show the word cards about the week on the board,and put the right food under the word of each day. 3 Post-reading Let’s think about the story. Ask the students to discuss what happened to the caterpillar. Step3 Summary Look at the board, encourage the students to retell the story with the key words.
