Efficiently Rural Middle School English Teaching with Innovative Educational Concept江西省兴国县枫边中学---曾志波Abstract: English plays an important role in the realization of world cultural exchange; learning English has become inevitable trendsof social development. However, due to a variety of factors, English teaching is relatively weak in junior middle schools of rural areas. Therefore, a deeplyanalysis of the related potential problems ofthis phenomenon is urgently needed; innovative educational concept is widely used in elementary and middle schooleducation, maybe this is the way for rural middle school English teaching. How to applying the innovative educationalconcept to the rural English teaching? This article putting forward a four-point personal suggestion, it may be improved the rural Middle School English teaching and provided a reference for other peers. Ⅰ.Rural Middle School English teaching facing with problems and challengesThe main difficulty in rural middle school English teaching is the lack of English language learning atmosphere, which leads to a passive learning mind and a disgusting sense of English learning.These phenomena often manifest as students interest in English learning is not strong and English language learning, listening, speaking, reading and writing skillsin a low efficiency.Apart from English classes and English self-study course, students spend no more than half an hour in English practice and do the English course homework; their main purpose oftake a English courseare only pass the entrance examination and admitted to higher level school. The weakest aspect of English are listening and speaking.Rural area students’parents are run around outside to make a living, their children were tended to living with their grandparents, faced with the yellow sun and green land crops every day; no one said the simple ABC words let alone the native English.Most of the rural area kids did not know what ‘English’ is until entered the school gate, aside
