The control technology of automatic transmission affects transmission performance, this paper introduces the application of modern control theory in automatic transmission control, such as the shift point control, control of torque converter clutch, gear shift quality control, adaptive control, fuzzy control, fault-tolerant control. The application of modern control technology can not only improve the running performance and improve the shift quality of automatic transmission, which has better performance and stronger adaptability to the driving conditions and different working conditions.
