Unit 3 How much is it? listening speaking part By Contestant No. Good morning! everyone, I’m contestant No .It’s my great pleasure to be here sharing my teaching ideas with you. Now, I’ll be ready to begin the lesson from seven parts. Analysis of teaching material, analysis of the students, analysis of teaching objectives, analysis of teaching important and difficult points, analysis of teaching methods and aids, analysis of teaching procedure, analysis of teaching reflection. Ok, I’ll start from the first part. Part I. Analysis of teaching material The contents of this course are chosen from English Basic Module Book one , published by Higher Education Press. I chose unit3: How much is it? The teaching contents in this period are listening speaking, the topic is about shopping. By studying this unit, we’ll enable the Ss to know how to do shopping. This lesson plays a very important part in the unit, if the students learn it well; they will learn the rest units of book easily. Part II. Analysis of the students The students for this lesson are from Grade one, they have different levels in English. Some of them are afraid of learning English, even tired of learning. They lack confidence in speaking English and it’s difficult for them to communicate with others in English. But they are creative and full of energy, they have strong desire to perform in front of the class. So as an English teacher of a vocational school , the most important is how to let them open their mouths and increase their interests of learning English. After studying the teaching material and analyzing the students, I think the teaching objectives are the following: Part III. Analysis of teaching objectives 1.
