Pressure pulsing of some nodes is obtained through hydromechanical analysis of a simple piping system with orifice based upon Flowmaster2. A straight pipe in piping system with orifice is simulated using ABAQUS, on the assumption that a corroded pit is in front of orifice, and the stress response of the corroded pit is obtained sequentially. Finally, a remaining life forecast method that synthesize corrosion rate and stress fatigue was obtained.
