School of Law and Politics, Hebei North University, 075000 Abstract: The article makes a quantitative and sectional comparison of abundance, density, combination status, advantages, tourism quality and comprehensive index of 25 cities and counties in Taihang Mountain of Hebei Province. The result indicates at the county level, Laishui, Pingshan and Xingtai Counties enjoy the highest tourism abundance of all kinds of tourism resources. At the regional level, tourism resources of Baoding City in Taihang Mountain Area enjoy the highest abundance compared with three other tourism areas. It also shows the tourism abundance and density do not follow the same ranking among all the cities and counties. Counties like Jingxing Mining Area, Fengfeng Mining Area and Handan County rise most obviously on tourism density. Laishui, Wu’an and Xingtai Counties enjoy the best tourism resource combination status. What’s more, the tourism resource combination advantage in Taihang Mountain is unbalanced in terms of geological distribution. Laishui, Xingtai, Pingshan, Wu’an counties enjoy the most advantage as a whole. Tourism resources of Baoding are the most advantageous in Taihang Mountain of Hebei Province. As far as Taihang Mountain of Hebei Province is concerned, tourism resources like hi
