I Have a Dream(我有一个梦想)课堂教学案例
引入( Preparation for reading )
Martin Luther King was born in 1929.
He graduated from a university in 1955.
In 1963,he gave a speech “I Have a Dream .” The speech made him famous all over the world.
He is a great man.
师:Can you add some information?
He was one of the freedom fighters.
He fought for the black people.
He received the Nobel Prize in 1964.
He was murdered in 1968.
师:All of you did a good job. You are familiar with him. What do you know about his speech。
(Scanning)
When the important events in Martin Luther King, Jr’s
1929 He was born in Atlanta, Georgia
1955 He led a boycott of a bus company.
1963 He gave the speech “I Have a Dream.”
1964 King received the Nobel Peace Prize.
He was murdered.
