It explores the rapid development of the digital media to bring the design of the non physical, digital reading of the carrier in the func- tion, mode of existence, as well as the form of the design problem. By introducing the concept of subject and object in the reading behavior, it discusses the development trend of the alienation of reading subject and media form in the context of digital media. From the subjects preferences, habits and needs, it concludes that reading style initiative, fragmentation, and the nature of the jump sequence of reading, as well as the organizational form to the digital virtual, high technology and high aesthetic design trends.
