However,theeffectofcreativedestructionvariesinco-couplingpatents,co-citedpatents,andpatentsofdirect citation. A methodological framework oftechnicalcompetitiveintelligenceresearchesbasedonpatentscitationswasestablishedandclassi鄄 fied intothreecategories. Applicablefieldsofpatent citationanalysismethodswere suggestedinresponsetodifferenttopicsin competitive technical intelligence studies:analysisofcurrent competitiverelationsbasedonpatent coupling,analysisofhistoricalcompetitive
