Module 3 Foreign Food Section Ⅰ Introduction amp; Reading-Pre-reading People who go to a formal Western dinner party for the first timemay be surprised by table manners in Western culture. I thought this vast wave of food was the total number of dishes to be served⑦, and I started eating greedily⑧. Everyone else⑨ just tasted a bit of each dish and then put their chopsticks⑩ down, continuing to chat?. “They cant have very big appetites,” I thought. To my surprise, more dishes arrived, plus soups, side dishes, and desserts. There was enough to feed a whole army. No wonder? my f
