A b stract: From Sep tem ber to Novem ber 2007, we recorded and analyzed the echo location calls of R icketti’s b igfooted bat

M y otis ricketti , in callrecording cage s u sing B atSound software. W e also calcu lated m ea surem en ts of w ing shap e for
these bats. W e comp ared the p aram eters of echo location calls and w ing shap e between m ale s and fem ales. The resu lts
showed that on ly the in terpu lse in terval wa s sign ifican tly differen t between m ales ( 6849 ±1099 m s) and fem ales
( 836 1 ±1377 m s) ( ttest: t = - 272 , P 00 1) , wh ile the pu lse duration (m ale: 4 28 ±034 m s, fem ale: 464 ±
