初步英语时态总复习 人们通常把动词表示情况或动作发生的时间区别的各种形式称为时态，时态是动词的一种形式。表示行为或状态发生或存在的时间和形式。动词时态共有16种。我们初步阶段接触到的时态有四种。它们是：一般现在时；现在进行时；一般将来时；一般过去时。 一、一般现在时 一般现在时主要表现在时间内和与现在时间有联系的时间内发生的动作或存在的状态。 行为动词一般现在时的构成： 当一般现在时的主语是单数第三人称时，谓语动词（do动词）末尾一般要加s或es。 单数第三人称形式 例词 词尾加-s work—works, help—helps, read—reads, … 以sh，ch，s，x，o等结尾加-es watch—watches, go—goes, teach—teacher, … y前为辅音字母，去y再加-ies y前为元音，则直接加-s study—studies, try—tries, … play—plays, buy—buys, … 一般现在时的肯定式、否定式和疑问式以及简单回答形式： 行为动词结构 一般现在时的肯定式、否定式和疑问式以及简单回答形式（以动词eat为例）： 肯定式 I (You, We, They) eat. No, we (they) aren’t. 二、现在进行时 1． 构成：现在进行时由“am (is, are) + 动词现在分词”构成。 现在分词的构成 例词 一般词尾加-ing do—doing, work—working, sing—singing, … 以不发音字母e结尾的动词，去e，再加-ing dance—dancing, make—making, write—writing, dive—diving, … 重读闭音节结尾，词尾只有一个辅音字母，双写该字母再加-ing run—running, swim—swimming, sit—sitting, begin—beginning, … 2． 现在进行时的肯定式、否定式和疑问式以及简单回答形式（以动词eat为例）： 肯定式 I am eating.
