Questions * Use this slide as a way to re-engage your audience into Gallup and to understand why Kohler administered the survey, what they may have learned from the process last year that they want to share with the rest of the group. Things that may come up: It was one more thing we had to do on top of all of the other responsibilities we had It created discussion in our teams, discussion about things we hadn’t considered before. It helped us understand how others interpreted the questions. It takes work to create an impact plan, but once it is written it’s easy. If you plan something and work the plan you see positive results. Getting the team to discuss the items was difficult Planning process for this year: Be better prepared for the team discussion Facilitate the group to come to an action plan Not write the action plan myself, let the team come up with the ideas Let the team take ownership Work the plan the entire year. * Debrief the small groups by letting each group share one idea until all ideas are out. The intent of this activity is to get the managers discussing the positive results that can occur when a workgroup is engaged. Positive work environment More productivity Happier employees People like coming to work Collaboration Teamwork happens Engagement matters because everyone likes to come to a positive workplace. * GrandMean – average score on a five point scale across the organization, department, workgroup Top Box – percent of people in that group that answered 5 for the item. Individual Item scores – average scores on a five point scale for each Q12 item Accountability Index – the composite score of the last three questions on the survey that measured if managers shared the reports, if the team did an impact plan and if the team executed and saw results from the impact plan. * When looking at a report these four columns display Unit – this year’s scores Past Unit – Last year’s scores Gallup 50th% - ? of Gallup’s work groups above and ?
