50 This controversy describes the dilemma faced by vast majority of people in this era due to the diverse range of personal perspective and life concerns. Although I agree with the speaker that college teacher should get the general idea of the new trend of the academic world relevant to the courses they teacher to some extent, the statement fails to account for the primary goal of the college education for teachers should to achieve. Therefore I would not be convinced that all faculty spend time working outside the acadamin world could contribute to牋improve the quality of the instruction . Here I will disscuss several conspicuous and critical aspects of the issue. The primary reason for my point of view is that working outside might probably distract some teachers attention from their teaching job,and would occupied the large portion of the teacher time.Thus they would do little to their acdamic progress while distracting from the reseach and instruction they should do.For example , as we are in the information world, it is prevalent for many computer science teachers of university working outside the campus for private company s project , by doing so, they earn much higer salary than the school pay them . As a result , they would not be able to do their endeavor to engage in the teaching process,thus the quality of the education declined and all the students suffer from it. Whats more, by attenting work outside ,some teachers might find it profitable. What we will expect?牋The school lose its human resources .?Another compelling reason for my perspective involves that??it is entirely possible for faculty of the university to abtain the new knowledge by attending academic seminer and the internet??rather than 　working outside . It is true our student need to know the new trend of their subjects, because ou s ,yet this kind of information is not tremendous , if much. It is entirely unnecessarily for faculty working outside in order to get such information . Af
