Bacteria w ere separated by plate culture after liquid medium culture. A c itin digestive bacteri um was separated from t e first Zoea foregut. T e c itin digest ive bacteria weren t founded in t e same experi ment from t e second Zoea to Megalopa. T e c itin digestive bacteria s owed roundness, protuberance, glassy umid, margin regular, milkyellow , aerotolerant anaerobe, and grow ing intently surrounding t e c itin on t e plate culture medium. T e c itin could promote t e growt rate of some digestive bacteria in larval gut of t e crab.
