USB keyboard not for sterile environment WARNING: To avoid contamination, do not use the USB keyboard supplied by SonoSite in a sterile environment. The USB keyboard is not sterilized and cannot withstand sterilization. The USB keyboard meets applicable requirements of IEC 60601-1-1 as a system accessory that may be used within the patient environment when connected to the S Series ultrasound system. The outer surfaces of the USB keyboard can be cleaned and disinfected with any one of the following products: Theracide Wipes, isopropyl alcohol, or hydrogen peroxide. Password-protected USB storage devices not supported The S Series ultrasound system does not support password-protected USB storage devices. When exporting data (images, clips, the Event log, or user accounts), make sure that the USB storage device you use does not have password protection enabled. Problems encountered when trying to use a password-protected USB storage device may include inaccurate information on storage capacity or the device being unrecognized. Although you may be able to successfully export a small amount of data to the device, the data may be hidden if the password is not entered. Exporting to USB storage device may take longer than expected Exporting large amounts of data to a USB storage device could take as long as a few hours depending on compression, file type, file size, and number of files. To avoid this issue, export data frequently—for example, after each patient exam or at the end of each day.
