Teaching aids: Word cards Tape recorder and tape Multi-media player Teaching procedure: Step 1. Warm-up Greeting: Morning , boys and girls! Welcome to be back to school! Step 2. Presentation 1. Show a picture of classroom. The teacher reads the words like that the classroom, the windows, the door, the floor, the board and the lights in English one by one. Then the teacher asks students to read after him. 2.T: What’s this? S: It’s a classroom. T: What’s in the classroom? (Choose several students who knows the answers to answer by using the words they’ve just learned.) Step 3. Practice 1. Play games. The teacher shows the cards of the words while the students are answering. Then the teacher points at the card and asks the students to read after her one by one.
