The history of Mother’s day… Mother’s day is on the second Sunday of May. For thousand years now, mothers from all over the world have been honored. In previous time the name “mother” was given to things and places what they loved or honored. Like mother earth and mother nature. A long time ago, mother’s day was an ecclesiastical feast-day. On the Sunday before Eastern, the people left their houses on a Jung age to go study or to find a job. Every spring came the children home on this Sunday. She was born in Crafton, West Virginia. She has never been married and she never had any children. Anna Jarvis said that love and honor mothers, was important. The mother of Anna, died in 1906, on the second Sunday of May, with Anna by her side. On that day she decided that she wants something to organize to honor all the mothers. The first Mother’s day was planed in 1907 in Crafton on the second Sunday of May. This day must be repeated every year in Crafton, and Anna would like that Mother’s day must be celebrate in more other places.
